Refunds & Cancellations

A £5 administration charge will apply to all refunded bookings.

In the first instance, Weymouth BID Ltd will endeavour to move a customer’s booking to another date/time to suit, rather than cancel a booking. If the customer insists on cancelling their booking, or an alternative date/time is not available, Weymouth BID Ltd will refund the amount taken for the original booking but will charge an administration fee of £5 per booking (not per ticket) to cover the staff time needed to process the refund.

Requests for refunds must be made at least 24 hours ahead of the session time. A refund request made after this time will not be processed.

Weather

The Ice Rink is open come rain or shine. Please dress according to the weather conditions on the day. Climatic conditions may cause a layer of water on the ice surface, this will not affect your skating and does not make it unsafe to skate. Although you may get wet if you fall over!

Minimum Age and Adult Supervision

For all sessions the minimum age for children to skate is 3 years old. All 3 to 8 year olds must be accompanied on the ice by an adult (18 years old and above) in skates.

Maximum of 3 children under the age of 8 per adult.

Ages 9-12 years must be accompanied by an adult (the adult need not be skating).

It is suggested that a skate aid is booked for little ones to help them find their feet on the ice. Double bladed ‘Bob’ skates are also available for young children. Parents must judge whether their children can skate safely.

In the interests of safety, babies and children cannot be carried on the ice.

Skates

Skate hire is included in the ticket price. If you wish to bring your own skates please ask a member of staff to check their condition and suitability for our rink.

Smoking, Food & Drink

Strictly no smoking, vaping, eating or drinking on the ice.

Ice Rink Safety

Please ensure you read and abide by the SAFETY RULES AND REGULATIONS displayed around the Ice Rink. If you are unsure or need advice please do not hesitate to contact a member of staff who will be pleased to help you.

First Aid

There is a first aid point within the skate exchange area. In the unlikely event you or a member of your party should need first aid treatment, please alert a member of staff. A first aider will be available to assist as required. We will need to record details of the incident and of the person/s involved at this time.
